Wisconsin Ag Open 2021

The 24th Annual Wisconsin Ag Open, hosted by the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation, will be on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. The event will be in its third year at The Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove.

All proceeds from the golf outing support education and leadership programs through the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation such as Ag in the Classroom, Young Farmer and Agriculturist and Promotion and Education activities, and Farm Bureau’s Leadership Institute. Open to the public, the Wisconsin Ag Open is for farmers, agribusiness professionals and others who wish to support youth and educational programs.

Unless COVID-19 Dane County restrictions change this, the Wisconsin Ag Open begins with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m with an awards program, appetizers and prizes will follow the golfing. Registration is $150 and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, box lunch, appetizers, and entry into a door prize drawing. The field is limited to 144 golfers to ensure a pleasant golfing experience.

A few things we learned from using the event registration process-

• To register multiple golfers, use the drop-down menu under “Quantity” and then select how many golfers.
• If you don’t know who is going to golf with your group, label them with your business/last name 1,2, 3, and 4 (i.e. AITC 1, AITC 2). When you know the names, please email them to me and I’ll add them in the order you prefer.
• If you don’t want to pay by credit card, choose the Pay by Check option. We will get the registration and then watch for your payment to come in.
• With COVID-19, if you prefer not to share a cart, please email me immediately after registering. They have a limited number of carts available so The Oaks may need to rent more depending on our needs.
• With COVID-19 and restrictions, it will be critical that we have all registrations in by August 10.
