Sun Prairie Firefighter Golf Classic

From 2003 to 2019, the Sun Prairie Fire Department has held an annual golf outing with all proceeds going to a charitable organization.  In previous years, we have donated to the UW Burn Center and most recently the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation, Inc. (PFFWCF). For the past 12 years, the proceeds from the Annual Firefighters Golf Classic have gone specifically to the “Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth”.  This camp allows children who have suffered burn injuries to participate in summer camp without feeling like an outsider. Unfortunately with the challenges of Covid-19 we were unable to host the event. Sun Prairie Fire Department is proud to announce the return of our annual golf outing. In 2019, the last year the event was held, we donated $14,500 to the burn camp. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, September 16th at the Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove.
