RSA Foundation & Cherry Creek Golf Club - 2nd Annual Golf Outing

After a banner inaugural outing in 2023, Cherry Creek Golf Club and RSA Foundation are hosting a day of golf and incredible food in support of the RSA Foundation! All proceeds and funds raised at this event will go directly to supporting the Foundation's programs for adults with cognitive and intellectual disabilities, including Rising Stars Academy, the Home Hub Program, and RSAF's newest social and emotional wellness program and job training site - Gather + Grounds. 

The event includes a round of golf at Cherry Creek's stunning golf course, lunch, snacks,  bar - and new to this year - a showstopping celebrity chef dinner and live auction. Menus will also feature items prepared by the Rising Stars bakery & culinary teams.  Tickets can be purchased for golf plus food or just for the dinner portion of the event.  Dinner-only guests should plan on arriving around 5:30PM.

The event will be supported by Rising Stars' students and clients, you can see them putting their skills and talents to work while attending! 

ABOUT RSA FOUNDATION:

Our mission is to be a place for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults to belong, and develop the necessary skills to participate at their full potential within the community.  

All of our programs are focused on a holistic approach to educating, training, and employing adults with disabilities. Our post-secondary public charter school, Rising Stars Academy, teaches life skills, job skills, and puts our students to work on our campus and at our partner job sites across the city of Detroit and the metro area. Our Home Hub program is a Community Mental Health day program that provides job skill training and job placement. Participants in both programs have the opportunity to train and work in our commercial bakery that provides bread to over 60 restaurants in the city and surrounding areas.  

Our newest program, Gather + Grounds, is a coffee shop with a full menu of beverages, sandwiches, and baked goods. All food is made in our bakery and the shop is staffed with our program participants, adding another much needed job training site and work opportunity for our community. In addition, the space aims to be a safe place for adults with disabilities to gather and feel safe, welcomed, and fully integrated and appreciated by the community. We are also running social and emotional wellness programs in the space at night.
